Well, well, well, sorry for the late posts. After Friday's competition, I was really sick. Therefore, I didn't post any posts recently. Anyways, last Friday was my Townwest Competition. I am sorry that I can't even make it to the second round. But I did my best and I think actually my performance is better than the last competition. Plus, I was sick during on stage already. Therefore, having that performance is kind of a challenging. While I was singing the song...I want to cough at the middle of the sentence.. but i didn't and I made it to the end and finished the song without any mistakes!! for that night, that is my goal..but I was kind of disappointed that I didn't make it to the final because I thought I will have a chance to make to the final! I know i can't make it to the top 3 .. for sure but .. I thought I will make it to top 5. But anyways, it is all over and I overall had enjoyed the process. I am sooo happy that I can represent UTSC to sing in this competition but sorry UTSC, I didn't win anything!><>

Thanks for everyone who came and support me! Specially my dad, he fly back to Canada from Hong Kong Friday morning just come to my competition. I am sorry that the first time you see my competition; i can 't even make it to the final. but I hope u enjoy the show!

Also, I thank my mom really much; ever since the first competition she tries to attend to all of my competitions and show .. and have a great support!! thank thank so much !

Well well well... !! GUESS WHAT? This post is kind of different than the others. Because this not a post that I am being a contestant for the competition ! Here I am being the JUDGE of the competition!! my first time being a judge!! and i really enjoy it much!! THANKS FOR A1 CHINESE RADIO so much to giving me this chance to be a judge and feel the way of being a judge!! it was cool!!!!!!~~~~ the first thing i got to do is just sit back and relax and enjoy the show! and i was soo super happy also because I can wear a wedding dress!!!!! The show was held last Sat, Oct 17th, 2009 @ Splendid China !

When i first got into Covergirl 2009 I thought I will have chance to wear a wedding dress; but nope! When i got in to the Sunshine Generation 2009 I thought I will have a chance to wear a wedding dress!! but nope again!!! (because last year both competitions did have wedding dress for contestants) ! BUT FINALLY, Coverboyz 2009 I can wear a wedding dress!!!! It was fun that day!!!

It was time for me to sit back and watch all the coverboys performing their talent show! and they were great!!! all people did a great job! And also..I enjoyed the introduction part (Kung Fu) a lot!!!!!! THE COVERBOYZ are soo COOL!!!~~ and I got to go on the stage and ask a coverboy a question for the question and answer section!!! which was great because most of the time; people ask me, not I ask people!!!!

I ENJOY THE SHOW A LOT!!!!! SOO HAPPY!!!

Yesterday, was the K- competition! I got into the top 16 but not top 11. Therefore, I can't get to the final competition. well.. I kind of feel happy but at the same time kind of feel sad! I feel happy because comparing my result from this year to last year; last year i can't even get into the stage that I have a chance to try and get into the semi-final! but this year ... not only i can get into the semi-final.. but i can get into the top 16! this is a great big step! BUT, I am sad because I think i can do better! and this is not the usual me! anyways, this pass and I m having another competition coming up on Friday; let's hope I will do much better on the Friday's competition!

First Time Stepping on Stage because of competition!

Yesterday, I had mentioned that the first competition I got in was last year March 30th,2008. This competition's name is called "Young Asian Canadian Idol Singing Competition 2008."

Today, I am showing you the pictures from the final competition. The first time I had a chance to sing in front of so many audiences at a mall with a competition going on! I felt kind of scared; therefore, my presentation that day was not the best. I finally discovered out that, why people always says; you should know your performance more than 100 percent because when you step on the stage it normally minus 20 percent of your normal performance.

The Start!

When was my first time stepping on the stage and competing with other contestants?

It seems like long time ago but when I really refresh my memory it was just last year March 30th, 2008! That day had changed my thoughts! It is because of that day, I start to have confidence to step on the stage. That day was the first day that I received a great news saying that I got in to a final stage for a singing competition. I remember this picture was taken after I had my audition and received a great news! And this is how I start my performance's life!

OMG~~~!!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!!!!!!!!!!

Today, I received a phone call from the evergreen association and they said that for the "K- Competition" (I had mentioned yesterday) I am no longer have a chance to try and get into the semi-final!!!! BUUUUTTTTTTT~~~~, I actually got into the semi-final!!!!!!!OMG... i was soooo happy i can't believe it!!!!

The reason why I got into the semi-final is because the staff explained: " one of the semi-final competitor had dropped out and within the group that who are going to try out to get into the semi-final....I got the highest mark. Therefore, I GOT IN!!!!!!!!! SO HAPPY!!!"

Anyways, enough of this!

Today's blog was going to talk about my other on coming competition......

"The 13th Annual Townwest Singing Competition"

This competition is organized by 9 universities:

1. University of Waterloo
2. York
3. McMaster
4. University of Guelph
5. Wilfrid Laurier University
6. University of Toronto (SG)
7. University of Western
8. University of Toronto (SC) (YAY!!!)
9. University of Ontario Institute of Technology

They are all organized by the Chinese Association Club!

And I am going to represent University of Toronto (SC) to enter this competition. In this competition we will have 3 rehershals. But I had missed the 1st one! But I attended to the second one, and it was pretty fun! In this competition we also have to dance. The dance is for the opening! At first I think it was a stressful task for me, because I don't always dance; and next week is kind of a crazy week for me, all my shows and school work are all due the same week.

........But the more i practice, the more I like the dance; and I think it is going to be fun to perform 2 dances on stage! I can't say that I will be perfect on the competition night but I am sure that I will try my best, I will enjoy the competition!!!

First Good News!

HELLO EVERYONE,

This is my first post on blogger! Well, I am creating this blog site is because I want to share my performance experiences.

YES, you are right; I LOVE and ENJOY performing on stage!!!!

But I would want to make this blog page more special; therefore, I wouldn't just throw all my performance information to this blog; what I really concentrate about is all my competitions. The most thing that I would want to share with all of you is my competitions experiences.

Overall, I had participated 5 competitions already. And everytime, I had gained more experiences. Also, I had learnt different things each time.

Participating in competitions will be stressful yet really fun at the same time. I always enjoy it a lot.

In this blog site, I will try to post few pictures or videos each day and I will talk about the pictures and videos and try to explain the meaning of the post.

But if there is any newest news that about my competitions that day, I will just update you guys. But the other time I will try to find the older competitions and talk about it !

Today, I had received a phone call from one of the Chinese organisation called Evergreen. And they said I got into top 14 in a Karaoke Singing Competition. And the competition will be hold this coming Sunday! @ Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto
